During the investigation, deputies learned that a suspect had entered a business where he physically assaulted a 70-year-old female before sexually assaulting her. Deputies reviewed video surveillance and were able to identify the suspect in this assault as Shamari Taylor, age 34. Approximately two hours later, deputies located and detained Taylor, who was subsequently booked at the Lerdo facility for charges related to the assault and sexual assault and is being held without bail pending court. Devin Marshall was fatally shot near the intersection of Masters Cup Way and Trevino Drive, Valencia. The victim was found in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.
