CHP MOTORCYCLE OFFICER KILLED IN TULARE COUNTY CRASH

A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was killed in a crash in Tulare County Monday evening, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred after 5:30 p.m. near Tipton, in the area of Highway 99 and Avenue 152. The collision prompted a full closure of the freeway as multiple law enforcement units responded to the scene.

Authorities have not yet released details regarding what led up to the crash.

The identity of the CHP officer has not been released at this time.
