Community Fundraiser for Family of Young Man Killed in Metrolink Collision

A fundraiser has been organized to help the family of Matthew, the young man who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Palmdale on Thursday night.

According to the family, Matthew’s death was unexpected, leaving his loved ones grieving while also facing the sudden financial burden of funeral arrangements.

Funds raised will help cover the immediate costs of cremation, a memorial, and an urn. The family hopes to have the needed funds by September 25 so they can make the arrangements and give Matthew a respectful farewell.
