DEPUTY-INVOLVED SHOOTING | LANCASTER
LANCASTER — At approximately 9:53 a.m., deputies responded to 15th Street West and Avenue J after reports of an armed man allegedly attempting to force his ex-wife into a vehicle at Leisure Gardens.
According to initial radio traffic, the suspect fired shots and deputies returned fire. The suspect was taken into custody. Blood was observed at the scene; however, it is currently unknown who was struck or injured.
Fire department personnel responded, and 15th Street West was blocked as the investigation continued.
