DORA FIRE UPDATE – FAIRMONT
The Dora Fire burning near West Avenue D and 210th Street West in Fairmont has grown to approximately 750 acres, according to Incident Command.
The fire made several significant runs throughout the afternoon, prompting a second alarm response after rapidly spreading with the wind. The fire has crossed 195th Street West, and structures remain threatened in the area. An Evacuation Warning is now officially in effect for Zone LAC-E1641.
Los Angeles County Fire Department has committed a substantial number of ground and air resources to the incident as firefighters continue working to slow the fire's spread and protect threatened structures.
Residents in the warning area should be prepared to leave if conditions deteriorate and continue monitoring official evacuation updates
