FATAL VEHICLE VS. PEDESTRIAN – LANCASTER
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday evening near Fig Avenue and West Avenue J in Lancaster.
Emergency personnel responded to the collision shortly before 8:00 p.m. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. Lancaster Police secured the area with crime scene tape while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The roadway was impacted during the investigation. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
