FEDS SERVE SEARCH WARRANTS AT LANCASTER CITY HALL

Federal investigators executed search warrants at multiple locations Wednesday, including Lancaster City Hall, according to law enforcement sources speaking with NBC4.

Authorities have not confirmed what the investigation is focused on or what agents are specifically seeking.

Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris told NBC4 that a federal investigation has been ongoing for the past three years. He said city-hired attorneys have reviewed records and found no issues.

Parris added the probe appears broad in scope, stating investigators are “looking into everything,” even mentioning the city’s annual Christmas bike giveaway. He said he is unsure what specifically prompted Wednesday’s activity.
