From CHP - Antelope Valley
This morning, CHP Antelope Valley motor officers conducted targeted enforcement along San Francisquito Canyon Road, Elizabeth Lake Road, and Bouquet Canyon Road in response to community concerns regarding dangerous and reckless driving behavior during commute hours.
Throughout the operation, officers conducted numerous traffic stops for violations that place motorists and our community at risk. A total of 45 traffic citations were issued.
We understand mornings can be busy and getting to work on time matters, but getting there safely matters more. Plan ahead, leave a few minutes early, obey posted speed limits, maintain a safe following distance, and avoid taking unnecessary risks behind the wheel.
