On Thursday, September 25, 2025, officers assigned to the Mandatory Supervision (MS) Unit conducted a home call in the 400 block of 15th Avenue, in Delano, CA. Officers contacted 31-year-old Shylo Herrera, who is on active Mandatory Supervision and Felony Probation. During the search, officers located a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a 20-gauge Mossberg shotgun, various rounds of ammunition, body armor and 19 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result, Herrera was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance while armed and possession of body armor by prohibited person.
