HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: Man Found Shot to Death at Palms Inn in Palmdale

PALMDALE — A shooting late Thursday night is under investigation after a man was found dead behind a local motel. At approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies and emergency personnel responded to the Palms Inn, located at 430 W. Palmdale Boulevard, following reports of a shooting victim in the rear area of the property. Upon arrival, first responders located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary information indicates the only suspect description available at this time is a Black adult male with dreadlocks, wearing all black clothing. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot toward Palmdale Boulevard.
