HOMICIDE SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AFTER PALMDALE PURSUIT
A pursuit involving a homicide suspect began near 10th Place East and Avenue Q-3 in Palmdale after the driver reportedly failed to yield during a traffic stop.
The suspect was driving a dark-colored Scion with California license plate 7POV903. During the pursuit, units advised the driver was wanted in connection with a 187 (homicide) investigation.
The pursuit continued through Palmdale before the Scion crashed near 8th Street East and Avenue P.
The driver was taken into custody following the crash. At this time, it is unknown what homicide the suspect was wanted in connection with, and additional details regarding the investigation have not yet been released.
