Kern County Sheriff's Office Dismantles Meth Conversion Labs; Four Arrested

A lengthy narcotics investigation was concluded with the execution of several search warrants in the Delano and Bakersfield area. As a result of the investigation, approximately 102.8 pounds of methamphetamine, 576.47 lbs. of methamphetamine in solution, 7- firearms, several thousands of dollars in US currency was seized and a stolen Class C motorhome was recovered. Units dismantled two methamphetamine conversion labs on a property in a residential neighborhood in Delano and a rural property in LA County, which resulted in the arrest of four (4) suspects.

On September 23, 2026, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Kern County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (KC-HIDTA) was assisted by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Gang Unit and Special Operations Group (SOG) with search warrants at a residence in the 6700 block of Brewerton Court, Bakersfield, 1300 block of High Street, Delano, 10400 block of Brutton Street, Delano and the 600 block of N. Market Road, Earlimart.

Throughout the investigation, Emmanuel Mayorga, (age 37) from Mexico, Lucio Meza-Meza, (age 30), from Mexico, Miguel Gonzalez-Lozano, (age 27) from Delano, California and Maricio Bustos-Ortiz, from Fresno, California were identified to be conspiring to possess methamphetamine for sales, conspire to manufacture methamphetamine for sales and traffic methamphetamine in the Central Valley.

Miguel Gonzalez-Lozano was arrested on September 22nd in Madera County on an active arrest warrant.

Emmanuel Mayorga and Lucio Meza-Meza were both arrested on September 23rd in the 1300 block of High Street in Delano on active arrest warrants.

Maricio Bustos-Ortiz was arrested on July 23rd and is currently pending court proceedings.
