LAKE ISABELLA WEAPONS AND NARCOTICS ARREST-

On September 18, 2025, at approximately 5:25 p.m., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Kern Valley Substation, responded to a report of a weapons-related incident in the 8500 block of Misty Court, Lake Isabella.

During the course of the investigation, deputies identified 59-year-old Timothy Powell as being under the influence of a controlled substance while in possession of firearms. A search warrant was obtained for the residence, where deputies located multiple firearms, including an illegal assault rifle, along with ammunition, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

Powell was arrested and booked into the Lerdo Justice Facility on multiple weapons and narcotics-related charges.
