Read moreLANCASTER — A large fire tore through a wrecking yard just after midnight at Pacific Auto Recycling, located at 225 W. Avenue H.
Los Angeles County firefighters arrived to find approximately 25 to 30 vehicles burning inside the recycling yard. Crews launched an aggressive attack to keep the fire from spreading through the property.
The fire took about two and a half hours to fully extinguish. No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
