Lancaster Station Detectives Arrest Suspect in Assault with a Deadly Weapon Investigation

An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 700 block of West Avenue K-4. Deputies responded to the location, conducted an initial investigation, and immediately notified Lancaster Station detectives.

Detectives assumed responsibility for the investigation and quickly identified the suspect and his residence. Through coordinated efforts with Lancaster Station LAN-CAP deputies, the suspect was located and taken into custody during a traffic stop. During the arrest, deputies recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the suspect’s possession.

Detectives, along with LAN-CAP deputies, subsequently served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence, where four additional firearms were recovered.

This case highlights the strong collaboration between patrol deputies, detectives, and LAN-CAP deputies. Through teamwork and proactive policing, Lancaster Station personnel remain committed to solving crimes and protecting our community.
