🚒 Late this afternoon, Kern County Fire Department Firefighters responded to a rapidly developing RV fire in the Station 14 area of Mojave. Upon arrival, Engine 14 found an RV fully involved, with the fire quickly extending to several nearby vehicles in a junkyard. Engine 14 immediately initiated an aggressive fire attack, while Engines 12, 15 and Engine 89 arrived shortly after to assist in stopping the fire’s forward progress and preventing further spread. We also extend our appreciation to our assisting partners from Edwards Air Force Base and Water Tender 42 for their support and teamwork during the incident. Thanks to the quick response, coordinated efforts, and professionalism of all personnel on scene, the fire was successfully contained before it could threaten additional property!
