On July 8, 2026, at approximately 2:26 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station responded to the intersection of Foxfire Road and Amethyst Road following reports of a juvenile who was struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies located a 16-year-old male suffering from severe injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains hospitalized. The investigation revealed 23-year-old Autumn Faller, a resident of Redlands, transported the victim to a residence in the 13700 block of Foxfire Road to retrieve personal property from the home of her ex-boyfriend, 20-year-old Matthew Williams, a Victorville resident. Upon arrival, Faller became involved in a verbal altercation with Matthew’s father, 48-year-old Joshua Williams, also a Victorville resident, in the roadway. During the confrontation, the juvenile exited the vehicle and was intentionally struck by a vehicle driven by Matthew Williams. Matthew Williams immediately fled the scene. On Thursday, July 9, 2026, investigators continued their investigation, which led to the service of a search warrant at the Foxfire Road residence. Personnel from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station Detective Bureau and the Victorville City Gang Impact Team served the search warrant and arrested Matthew Williams and Joshua Williams. Matthew Williams was booked for Penal Code 664/187 – Attempted Murder, Penal Code 422 – Criminal Threats, and an outstanding felony warrant. He remains in custody with bail set at $575,000. Joshua Williams was booked for Penal Code 32 – Accessory After the Fact. He remains in custody with bail set at $500,000. Autumn Faller was booked for Penal Code 273a(a) – Child Abuse Causing Great Bodily Injury. She remains in custody with bail set at $50,000. Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact the Victorville Police Station at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760)956-5001.
