L.A. County Fire is responding to a reported vegetation fire near 190th St W & W Avenue C in Fairmont.

Initial dispatch was received at approximately 11:23 a.m. Resources assigned include Engine 78, Engine 130, Patrol 78, Water Tender 130, with Engine 15 from Kern County also responding to assist.

Smoke from the incident is visible on ALERTCalifornia cameras.

No confirmed acreage, containment, or structure threats at this time.

Please avoid the area and do not fly drones near firefighting operations. More updates as they become available.

UPDATE: (11:50am) E130 on scene…Fire at 100 acres and running to the east…no structures currently threatened…second alarm started

UPDATE: (12:54pm) forward progress stopped…several out buildings destroyed…crews mopping up hot spots…releasing aircraft and other resources
