Over 38 Pounds of Narcotics Seized

Following an investigation into narcotics sales in the Santa Clarita Valley, Narcotics Bureau detectives, assisted by Crime Impact Team (CIT) deputies, served search warrants at multiple locations in the San Fernando Valley Wednesday morning.

Two suspects, a 34-year-old female and a 50-year-old male, both from San Fernando, were taken into custody and arrested on multiple felony narcotics charges. They were transported and booked at Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.

Deputies and detectives seized over 27 lbs of methamphetamine, 8 lbs of fentanyl, and 3 lbs of heroin, along with scales and packaging materials used for sales.

We’ll continue doing everything we can to reduce the impact of illegal narcotics in our community.
