**OVERTURNED SEMI TRUCK ON SR-58 – LANE REMAINS CLOSED**

**TEHACHAPI, CA** – A semi-truck overturned Saturday evening on westbound State Route 58 near the Monolith Cement Plant.

The collision was reported at approximately 7:05 p.m. Initial reports indicated the truck had overturned in the center median. The driver was reportedly conscious and speaking but complained of an injury to their left arm.

CHP requested heavy-duty recovery equipment, and Caltrans implemented a hard closure of the westbound No. 1 lane.

**UPDATE – Sunday, October 11, 9:00 a.m.:** One westbound lane remains closed as crews continue working at the scene.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect possible delays and use caution.
