Palmdale — Deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence incident with two shots heard in the area of 11th Street East and Avenue R just after noon today.
Upon arrival, deputies initially found no evidence of shots fired or a domestic disturbance. During a continued check of the area, a deputy later discovered a person inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.
Additional sheriff’s units and the fire department were requested to the scene.
It is unknown if the two incidents are related.
The investigation is ongoing.
