Suspect Arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Narcotics, and Body Armor
Suspect: Arthur Gradias, 22-year-old male Hispanic, resident of Moreno Valley
Suspect: 17-year-old male Hispanic, resident of unincorporated area of Tehachapi
Suspect: Stephanie Vasquez, 36-year-old, resident of unincorporated area of Tehachapi
On March 11th, 2026, Tehachapi Police Department Officers conducted a traffic stop on Stephanie Vasquez, in the City of Tehachapi. Ms. Vasquez had multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants for alleged crimes that had previously occurred within the city. Additionally, she is currently on Probation.
Based on Ms. Vasquez Probation status, TPD Officers responded to her residence in the 21000 block of Golden Hills Blvd (unincorporated area of Tehachapi) to conduct a probation search. As Officers approached the residence two suspects, Arthur Gradias and a 17-year-old male Hispanic juvenile fled the location on foot. Officers were able to apprehend the two male suspects near-by.
Mr. Gradias was in possession of a loaded 40cal “Ghost Gun” with two magazines. The male juvenile was in possession of fentanyl and $500 cash, in small denominations.
TPD Officers completed the probation search during which time they located a 50 round handgun drum magazine and body armor.
Mr. Gradias was booked into Kern County Jail Lerdo for multiple felony charges including Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Body Armor. The male juvenile was booked into juvenile hall for multiple felony charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales and Addict in Possession of a Firearm. Ms. Vasquez was booked into Kern County Jail Lerdo for her multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants.
