Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Battery on a Minor
Suspect: Timothy Seaman, 43-year-old, Tehachapi
In late November 2025, the Tehachapi Police Department was contacted by a parent of a juvenile victim, who told investigators that her child had been inappropriately touched by the suspect, who is a Physical Education Teacher with the Tehachapi Unified School District. According to the victim the incident occurred on a school campus. During the investigation, officers received information and determined there was an additional victim who had also been inappropriately touched by the same suspect on the same campus.
On Wednesday December 10th, 2025, Detectives from the Tehachapi Police Department served a search warrant at the suspect鈥檚 residence in the City of Tehachapi. During the service of the warrant multiple cell phones and digital devices were seized. The devices were turned over to the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Secret Service in Bakersfield for assistance in recovering potential evidence related to this case. During their extraction of information from the devices, evidence was recovered for this case as well proof of possession and distribution of child pornography.
On Tuesday December 16th, 2025, at the request of the Tehachapi Police Department, Detectives from the Porterville Police Department located the suspect in the 1900 Block of Pamela Court in the City of Porterville, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Tehachapi Police Department responded to Porterville and took custody of the suspect, later booking him into the Kern County Jail, Lerdo Facility on the above listed charges.
