Rosamond- Arrests for Burglary and Gun Charges

On August 19, 2025, at about 11:39 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to Rosamond Substation responded to a reported burglary at the Dollar General located on Rosamond Blvd. Deputies determined three suspects had stolen approximately $144 worth of laundry detergent before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies located the suspect vehicle at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Diamond Street in Rosamond. Deputies established a perimeter around the residence. During this time, one suspect attempted to flee by jumping from a second-story window and running through an alley. He was quickly apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Deputies issued commands over a public address (PA) system, resulting in the detention of several individuals, including the remaining two outstanding burglary suspects. Deputies from the Mojave Substation responded to assist with the service of a search warrant for the residence and suspect vehicle. While the stolen laundry detergent was not recovered, deputies located multiple firearms—including an AK-47 and a sawed-off shotgun—along with a large quantity of ammunition and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.

The following suspects were arrested and booked: Andres Martinez Joseph Eslick Bruce Liddle

For the following charges: PC 460(b) Burglary, second degree PC 30305(a)(1) Felon in possession of ammunition PC 182(a)(1) Conspiracy to commit a crime PC 148(a)(1) Resist/Delay/Obstruct a peace officer PC 666.1 Theft with two prior convictions PC 29800(a)(1) Felon in possession of a firearm PC 32310 Possession of large capacity magazine PC 29900(a)(1) Possession of firearms with violent felony conviction PC 33210 Possession of a dangerous weapon PC 29825(b) Possession of a firearm against a court order PC 23920 Possession of a firearm with altered serial number PC 30720 Possession of an SKS rifle

Additionally, while deputies were serving the warrant, an unrelated subject, Cody Bohannon, was observed walking nearby. Deputies recognized Bohannon as having an outstanding felony warrant, and he was taken into custody without incident.
