STRUCTURE FIRE IN LANCASTER

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 1100 block of East Lingard Street in Lancaster Wednesday evening.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire involving a vehicle and extending into the residence, sending a large column of smoke into the area. Crews worked from both the ground and roof to knock down the fire and check for extension.

The incident was dispatched at approximately 5:38 p.m. Multiple L.A. County Fire Department units responded to the scene.
