Tejon Substation – Collaborations with Allied Agencies Lead to Multiple Arrests
CASE: 2025-00161482 (Fresno)
On Dec. 21, 2025, Tejon Substation deputies investigated a theft involving two rideshare passengers who reported $7,100 in stolen luggage. Suspect Bernardino Valdivia (36), of Fresno, was identified. With help from the Special Services Investigation Unit, detectives executed a search warrant at Valdivia’s home, recovering electronics and a passport. Valdivia was booked for grand theft and possession of stolen property. Sentencing is set for Feb. 6, 2026, at Kern County Superior Court – Lamont Division.
CASE: 2025-00150436 / 2025-00165838 (Bakersfield)
On Nov. 26, 2025, deputies investigated an attempted Tesla burglary and vandalism. Tiffany Campbell (45), of Bakersfield, was identified as the primary suspect. A probation search led to Campbell’s arrest along with Lois Campbell (19) and Michael Dominguez (19) on unrelated narcotics charges. Deputies recovered stolen mail, fake IDs, check-making equipment, and narcotics. Suspects allegedly purchased vehicles using false identities. Charges include identity theft, forgery, possession of stolen vehicle, attempted burglary, vandalism, and narcotics offenses.
CASE: 2025-00164231 (Santa Monica)
On Dec. 27, 2025, deputies investigated a vehicle burglary with $2,000 in stolen property and $600 damage. With Santa Monica PD assistance, suspect Cornelius Wigfall (44) was arrested, and stolen property recovered. Wigfall was booked for possession of stolen property; additional charges are pending against two more suspects.
CASE: 2026-00001614 (Tulare)
On Jan. 5, 2026, deputies responded to a vehicle burglary where $4,000 in electronics and IDs were stolen. A victim’s credit card was used fraudulently. Surveillance identified a Ford F-150, later located by Tulare County deputies in Porterville. Anthony Tyler Smith (30) and Sarah Perez (42) were detained; the truck was stolen out of Atascadero PD. Victims’ IDs and cards were recovered. Smith faces Kern County charges for grand theft, credit card fraud, and theft with priors; Perez faces charges in Tulare County.
