Today, we honor the memory of Sgt. Steve Owen, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on this day October 5th, 2016.

Sgt. Owen was more than just a law enforcement officer — he was a true pillar of the Antelope Valley community. His commitment to service, his dedication to protecting others, and his genuine care for the people he served left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He never hesitated to go above and beyond the call of duty. Sgt. Owen exemplified what it means to lead with heart and integrity.
