**UPD** #LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Shooting Death Investigation, 1700 blk E. Ave. J4, Lancaster
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult in Lancaster. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at approximately 12:07 a.m.
Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the 1700 block of East Avenue J4 in the city of Lancaster regarding a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, deputies located a male in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
Investigators learned the victim was involved in an altercation when a suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle eastbound through the complex.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
