Firefighters have a good handle on the vegetation fire burning near Munz Ranch Road and Lancaster Road in Fairmont.

According to radio traffic, crews report the fire's forward progress has been slowed, and Incident Command has canceled all responding helicopters and bulldozers as the incident continues to be managed with resources already on scene.
