Vehicle vs. Pedestrian – Palmdale
PALMDALE — First responders were dispatched at approximately 11:21 p.m. Wednesday to Sierra Highway north of Rancho Vista Boulevard for an initial report of a person down and not breathing.
Once first responders arrived on scene, the incident was upgraded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.
Sierra Highway is closed in both directions between Avenue O-8 and Rancho Vista Boulevard while emergency crews work the scene and continue the investigation.
Additional information regarding the pedestrian’s condition and circumstances surrounding the collision has not yet been confirmed.
