**WOMAN ATTACKED BY PIT BULLS IN LANCASTER, TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL**
**LANCASTER, CA** – Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies responded Code 3 at approximately 11:24 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, following a 911 report of a woman being attacked by two pit bulls near Trevor Avenue and Pillsbury Street.
Initial reports indicated two women were being mauled, but it was later determined that only one woman was injured.
The victim managed to walk to a nearby Carl's Jr. and was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) for treatment of dog bite injuries.
Deputies later located the dogs at a property down the street, where they went underneath a fence. Deputies attempted to make contact with someone at the property, but no one answered.
The extent of the woman's injuries is unknown at this time.
