A deputy-involved shooting occurred Monday evening at Desert Oasis Mobile Estates in Rosamond after deputies encountered a man reportedly armed with a large sword.
The original want was for a PC 69. During the incident, a deputy-involved shooting occurred, and the suspect was struck by gunfire.
The suspect was transported to a hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not yet been released. As is standard protocol, the incident is under investigation, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
