KERN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEEKS COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO HONOR FALLEN VETERANS
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in sponsoring 1,000 wreaths by December 1 to honor veterans laid to rest at Bakersfield National Cemetery.
So far, 280 wreaths have been sponsored, leaving 720 more needed to reach the goal.
Each wreath costs $17 and serves as a tribute to the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.
Community members can sponsor a wreath or register to volunteer at the December 19 wreath-laying ceremony.

Every wreath makes a difference in ensuring our veterans are remembered and honored. 🇺🇸
