Kern Valley Sub Narcotics Arrests-

On October 1, 2025, Deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Kern County Probation Agents, conducted a probation search at a residence in the 2400 block of Cherry Street. During the search, deputies located and recovered a stolen motorcycle.

Following this discovery, on October 3, 2025, Deputies assigned to the Kern Valley Substation executed a search warrant at the same residence. During the execution of the warrant, Deputies located an illegal gambling table, approximately 111.2 grams of suspected fentanyl, 17.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and nearly $2,000 in cash believed to be associated with illegal gambling and narcotics sales activity.

Michael Charles Brown (39) and Elia Elizabeth Martin (27) of Lake Isabella were arrested and booked into custody for several felony charges, including narcotic sales, maintaining a residence for narcotic sales, maintaining a home for illegal gambling, conspiracy to commit a crime, and child endangerment.
